About

André Betz is an award-winning commercial film editor. His work is seen globally and was recently selected as one of the top two Super Bowl commercial of all time. His commercials over the years have become part of the permanent exhibit of the Museum of Modern Art in NYC.

With his exceptional ability to tell stories, André has translated his natural talent to capture an audience's attention within a 30 second commercial, and compressed it into a single frame, the purest edit possible.

“I am used to editing people’s work down to it’s core importance, but being able to tell a story and engage the audience in a single frame is simplicity at its best.”

His talent for photography has him traveling around the world, combining the beauty of human physicality, with the depth of human emotion, all within the presence of dynamic landscapes. With this in mind,  André almost exclusively photographs people. “I rarely photograph landscapes, because anyone can set their camera in the exact same spot and capture nearly an identical image. If you photograph a person you are capturing a single moment in time that can never be recreated. The emotions in that moment will never be the same. I love the purity of capturing that single moment.”
